Healing Ourselves, Healing our communities

WHY HYPHA?

A hypha is a single strand of a mycelium network, which is the underground network of mushrooms and fungi. Mycelium networks operate very much like a neural network and even resemble the neural pathways in a human brain. They have a complex system of communication underground that supports the network, as well as the trees and plants around them. Mushrooms create symbiotic relationships with other organisms in the forest and are integral to the ecosystem.

We are each a hypha in the mycelium network of our communities, and our collective and intergenerational context. Hyphae (the plural of hypha) work together to create a powerful network that can do incredible things. Hypha Counselling is a practice dedicated to individual and collective healing, to being in community, to interconnectedness and co-struggle.
